About Me

Hassan Fahmy, born in Cairo, Egypt; and is the first elected official in the USA of Egyptian descent.  He is highly devoted and experienced in management professionalism, with the ability to increase morale and provide a positive work environment facilitating success.

One of the most impressive qualifications that Mr. Fahmy holds is one in which includes a strong background in non-partisan politics.  Known for hands on approach to management, earning respect  and commitment from personnel.  Highly Skilled in public relations.  Recognized for ability to lead and motivate team by providing a “family” atmosphere.  Adept at personnel training and support, ensuring high level of community outreach and public service.  He has multi language abilities;  which gives him an insight to multi-cultural diversity.  He has a great ability to solve problems and deal with neighborhood situations that leads to an ultimate peaceful solution. 

 

Presently Mr. Fahmy holds a Management position with 85 Broad Street Corporation, NYC, a transportation organization parenting five other companies, including Goldman Sachs, Executive charge, Charge and Ride,NYC and Empire.

Mr. Fahmy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cairo, Egypt, Certificate of Retail Development from Mobil Oil Corporation, New York State Department of Motor Vehicle Inspectors Certificate, Passaic County Substitute Teachers Certificate from the State of N.J.-Grades K-12, and several other certificates of community and political concerns.
