Introduced “Hands Free Cell Phone Ordinance”
“Keep
your Eyes on the Road and Hands on the Wheel”, While driving and
talking on a cell phone at the same time you are not concentrating on the road 100%, your mind is not clear. This can cause accidents; therefore I introduced this ordinance to keep our streets safe for all residents. It’s our town and we should keep it as safe as we can.
Security Camera System
This system
enables the Borough to see exactly what goes on in the building on a day to day and weekend basis. We have a TV monitor which runs during the day and is located in the Police Captains office. Also, if there
is any suspicious going on, we can run the tape for that particular day in question.
Waxed Floors
Once or
twice per year the floors in the municipal building get waxed at no charge to the Borough.
First Borough “Newsletter”
I initiated
this newsletter to inform all the residents of what is happening in the town. This
newsletter is available to all residents on a quarterly basis, free of charge to them. “Thankful for the join efforts
of MS. Loida Claudio and Councilman Herb Perez”
Introduced Helmet Ordinance
This ordinance was introduced to protect our children. It
can save someone’s life, without a helmet if they fall or get hit by a car this could cause severe damage and trauma
to a child.
